Roofing & building in Putney

Putney's streets of Victorian terraces come with tall, exposed chimney stacks. Those stacks are behind a large share of the leaks we're called to, since they take the worst of the wind and rain. Repointing, re-flaunching and renewing the lead flashing around a chimney is some of the most common, and most worthwhile, work we do here.

Alongside chimney and roof repairs, we carry out full re-roofs, flat roofing to extensions, leadwork and loft conversions across Putney and neighbouring Roehampton and Barnes. It's one local team, quick to reach over the bridge, handling the whole job from first visit to finish.

Not sure whether your roof needs a repair or a full replacement? Our guide to repairing versus replacing a roof walks through the decision. And before you hire anyone, see our guide on choosing a roofer you can trust for the checks worth making first.

We usually start with a visit to look at the chimney and roof together, because the two are rarely separate problems on these terraces. From there we give you a clear written quote, with an honest view on repair versus replacement. There's no obligation, and no pressure to decide on the day.
